500 TONS OF STEEL, 4000 CONCRETE BLOCKS WAS APPLIED AND MADE FOR THE BASEMENT OF M GARDEN CITY
After 140 days of hard work on the construction site, on the morning of July 20, the simple basement closing ceremony took place on the foundation of the M-Garden City hotel. The project's chief architect, Ho Khue, was at the ceremony with engineers and workers.
M-Garden City is considered as a highlight project with a green covering area of 2,500 m2 and green covering the facade area of 5,000 m2. Therefore, right from the start, the value of the project was determined, so the contractor, the project management board, and the design consultant spent almost all their time and enthusiasm. As of the morning of July 21, when the last steps of the basement phase were completed, the site had undergone 140 days of construction, 10 days ahead of schedule.
Engineers, workers and contractors said there were many challenges during this phase. The fair-face method for the facade requires high technical skills of the contractor, construction team as well as the constructing time. In particular, the complicated of the pandemic situation in Da Nang for many months has also posed great difficulties. However, with its professionalism, the Newtecons team has fulfilled the requirements with flying colors. The mock-up concrete is also passed the quality test by the contractor and architects many times.
With the stature of an important and symbolic project in the future, the basement closing ceremony was held simply on the construction site but with proper etiquette. It is estimated that 500 tons of steel and 4,000 concrete blocks have been applied and made during the basement phase.
