Dining house for workers is a category of building located in the area of a Manufacturing Factory with a land area of almost 5 hectares and more than 150 thousand m2 of floor use. The building was formed from the owner's interest in the desire to have a space for eating, resting, and relaxing for workers after high-intensity work hours.
The inspiration for the design idea came from the company’s name “Green Planet”. The construction is a three-storey building block with a total floor area of more than 6,000 m2, covered by a green arc frame, creating a green building in an industrial park that is usually monotonous, dry, and hard.
The emphasis inside the building comes from the void designed mainly right in the middle of the dining house. The vegetarian carpets, the aquarium surface on the first floor, and the green “coat” cover the building allowing workers to feel as if they are resting in a tropical garden resort. In addition, the green coat also protects the building from the heat radiation of the hot sun.
